Michael Keaton is an American actor, director and producer who is recognized for his role in the film 'Birdman. An actor with a variety of talents, he's skilled in playing comedy as well as dramatic roles. He has also portrayed various romantic characters, and appeared in several action thrillers during his professional career. As a teenager He began to be interested in performing and acting. When he was a young adult the actor tried the stand-up comedy route. Although his comedy career failed, it was the foundation to his acting career. Not able to achieve success as a comedian he took the job of a television cameraman in a cable channel. When he was working for the cable station, the cameraman realized his desire was to work the camera. Then he landed a TV performance, starring in several episodes Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was naturally gifted actor who soon gained a lot of attention on the television. He decided to pursue a film career with great ambitions and was able to gain a considerable amount of fame through his comedic roles. In Tim Burton's Batman in the film, he played the superhero of the similar name. With time he matured as an actor, and began to work in direction and production. The performance he made in 2014's Birdman earned him several nominations and awards.
